Did You Know?

Attractive brunette leading actress of the silent screen. In 1904, she was chosen as model for the decorative design of the St. Louis exposition. Her film career began with Edison in 1914 and she later went on to play vamp-ish roles in Vitagraph melodramas. By the 20's, she was cast mainly in maternal supporting roles. Her attempt to carry on into the sound era proved largely unsuccessful.
