Trivia (2)

According to the book "The Catskills Alive" by Francine Silverman, Jackie Horner was the prototype for the Penny Johnson character.
In 1948, at age 15, she ran away from home, saying she'd had enough of Hollywood and wanted to "be normal like any other girl my age." She was found in San Francisco eight days later with a 19-year-old Navy seaman and made a ward of the Los Angeles Juvenile Court.
