Between Two Ferns: The Movie Trailer Takes Zach Galifianakis on an All-Star Road Trip
We never thought it would happen. But here it is. Zach Galifianakis has successfully turned his Internet talk show into a feature film. Today, Netflix has released the official star-studded trailer for Between Two Ferns: The Movie. And it looks like a hilarious romp across America.

In Between Two Ferns: The Movie, Zach Galifianakis and his oddball crew take a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews and restore his reputation. Will Ferrell promises his comedy cohort that if he's successful in his endeavor, he'll (maybe) get his own series on broadcast TV. Though it looks like a true uphill battle.

Zach Galifianakis has scored some big interviews for Between Two Ferns in the past, including President Barack Obama and Jerry Seinfeld. The movie is going all out with its all-star cameos, and things kick off with Matthew Mcconaughey, who agrees to an interview only to find himself drowning,

Galifianakis stars as himself, the sardonic host of Between Two Ferns which, in the film, runs on public access television. ‘Between Two Ferns: The Movie’ Trailer: Zach Galifianakis Hits the Road for Netflix
Only someone as funny and weird as Zach Galifianakis could jump the line from web series to TV show and go straight to making a movie. Well, a Netflix movie, at least. For his next project, the actor and comedian has adapted his hit Funny or Die interview series “Between Two Ferns” into a feature-length movie. “Between Two Ferns: The Movie” will hit Netflix later this month, and the first official trailer promises a wild ride full of celebrity cameos, Galifianakis asking famous people uncomfortable questions that have been thoroughly vetted, washed out lighting and physical comedy.

While the trailer doesn’t offer much in the way of a plot set-up, there does appear to be some semblance of one. The Netflix synopsis offers: “Zach Galifianakis and his oddball crew take a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews and restore his reputation.”

That otherwise sparkling reputation

Zach Galifianakis ‘Momentarily’ Murders Matthew McConaughey in ‘Between Two Ferns: The Movie’ Trailer (Video)
Of all of Zach Galifianakis’ bad and awkward interviews that he’s done as part of his viral web series “Between Two Ferns,” none of them has ended as badly as his new interview with Matthew McConaughey.

The new movie version of “Between Two Ferns” begins with a pipe bursting during their interview, flooding the room with so much water that it drowns McConaughey.

Don’t worry, Galifianakis only killed McConaughey “momentarily,” as his boss, played by Will Ferrell, explains in the film’s first trailer.

‘Between Two Ferns: The Movie’ Trailer: Zach Galifianakis Embarks on a Cameo-Filled Adventure

One may wonder just how the Zach Galifianakis web series Between Two Ferns could be expanded into a feature film, but in the hands of director and co-writer Scott Aukerman, our fears are kept at bay. Ahead of a release later this month, the first trailer has now arrived.

“We shot it like an actual documentary, where we built a public-access station and we shot at it. And if something came up where one of the actors would improvise something, we would then get with our production designers and production team and go shoot that scene that just came up in the improvising. So it was really a fun, cool way to do a movie,” Aukerman recently told Vulture.

Starring Galifianakis, Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Gaul, and Jiavani Linayo, and featuring cameo appearances by Matthew McConaughey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Dinklage, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Jason Schwartzman, Tiffany Haddish, Paul Rust, Paul Rudd,

Will 2019’s Final Quarter Be Netflix’s Best Yet?

Netflix

As I type this as we’re about to enter the autumn movie season. The summer is drawing to a close and movie studios are chomping at the bit to get the aces up their sleeves out into the late 2019 festivals and eventually onto our screens. On the eve of the Venice Film Festival, the first of the prestigious fall festivals, Netflix has released the release dates for their final quarter slate, and it might be their most impressive yet.

Earlier on today, the streamer fired the first shot from its cannon, the teaser trailer for the Timothée Chalamet-led period piece, The King, an ensemble piece that Netflix has announced will hit their worldwide platform on 1st November. They will also roll the film out in front of audiences at September’s Tiff in Canada.

Also on the cards is Eddie Murphy comedy Dolemite Is My Name, which will

The Five Best Jason Schwartzman Movies of His Career

In a way it’s very easy to forget that Jason Schwartzman is still around since we don’t see him in a lot of big budget movies it would seem. But all the same he is still around and he’s matured quite a bit throughout the years in several ways. Some of his earlier movies depicted him as a rather cocky and self-assured person, which made for a great villain role as well as a foil to other characters in said movies since he did act like kind of a jerk. But his development throughout the years has been something fun
