Storyline

For years South Korea has suffered under occupation, been desecrated by war, forgotten, and ultimately struggled to find itself on the global totem pole. In the past 30 years, however, the country has turned a sharp corner, transforming itself into a dominating force of wealth, power, and global influence. Korea has become a powerhouse, but with all of its successes exists a rapidly aging society that is burning the wick at both ends. Eddie visits Seoul to see how Korea's rise through soft power has effected the country for better or for worse. Written by David Laven
