As sweet as 'barfi'
7 November 2017 | by (India) – See all my reviews

Wow. Didn't expect it to be this simple and sweet. Yes, it had Ayushman and I expected it to be his kind of movies - 'Vicky Donor', 'Dum Laga Ke..', 'Meri Pyari Bindu' etc, and it was exactly like that yet it had an above average story and obviously, Ayushman was great as usual. What do we say about Rajkumar Rao? He is perfect. Kriti is wonderful as usual. The tomboyish character she plays, well, looks like she is so in real life. But not to forget the supporting characters like Pankaj Tripathi, and Seema Bhargava. Wow, Seema as Kriti's mom is brilliant. She has been so in many films and she doesn't let you down with her character. The songs were an OK. The dialogues were good. On the whole an enjoyable one time watch. I didn't know that Bareilly Ki Barfi is taken from a Novel! Yes.
