Goofs

When Debbie stood up to challenge Ruth's character, she spoke her true self; a housewife and in her normal accent, yet after the match, she suddenly became her "Liberty Belle" character, complete with southern accent. That kind of confusion was frowned upon severely in 1980s wrestling. See more »

Fight night, against the odds

An appropriate end to its first season, 'Money's in the Chase' brings it all together - as the cheesiest of '80s sports movies (throwing in Pat Benatar's "Invincible" for good measure). And it works. The wrestling's theatrical, colorful, and more than that, exciting.

Above all, it left me interested in the main characters (Maron, Brie, Gilpin) and up for another season.
