While Daniel Kaluuya was filming Black Panther (2018), he took part in the hilarious 'Get Out Challenge' onset. It involves co-stars Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, and other cast members and crew members running toward him and taking sharp turns at the last minute. It may be thought that striking the deer would have caused greater damage to Rose's vehicle, but it is impossible to predict the amount of damage hitting a moving animal will do. Also, it was a glancing blow -- hard enough and at the right angle to kill the deer but not hard enough to do more damage to the car. See more »
Fantastic! I would not call it "horror" but certainly "thriller" with some comedy thrown into it. This Jordan Peele fellow has managed to bring something new to this genre and I certainly hope he'll do more thrillers.
The cast is great and I especially enjoyed Betty Gabriels performance. Lots of faces I have never seen before and they all did a stellar job. And those faces I have seen before did a stellar job, too. =)
I do not know if the overall idea is new but the way it was presented and the way it was done feels very fresh.
