Erik Clausens best film ever ?
15 March 2015 | by (Odense, Denmark) – See all my reviews

Erik Clausen's new film is - in my opinion - one of Erik Clausen's best film - a matchless - both funny - and very sensitive film that tells the story of Herluf, an elderly mechanic who get the disease senile dementia. Erik Clausen has always been a divine writer/director- both when it comes to merging social realism and humor. This also applies in this film where the dementia Herluf story is told - with equal parts compassion and sense of empathy. The participating actors - with Bodil Jørgensen and Erik Clausen in front - supplies all in many ways heartbreaking, believable - and humorous - picture of everyday life in a family where a family suddenly hit by the dreaded disease dementia.

This movie is highly recommended.
