I believe this came out after season one of the television series "The Vampire Diaries" and was also includes as an extra on the DVD. However, there is really nothing good about these 18 minutes. It already starts with the stupid title which is obviously a reference to the "Twilight" movies and the most ridiculous thing is that nobody (at least nobody of the main players) has half the talent of Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson. Also they took the one human girl being attracted to 2 vampires story exactly the way it was used in "Twilight". And now they act as if they are all so different and better? Give me a break. I have almost finished season 1 of this television series and it's mediocre at best, sometimes pretty bad and there is certainly nothing memorable about the writing or the characters. Good looking actors with little range, that's pretty much it.
Also this documentary tells some random facts about vampires, but these are really just information that are so basic that everybody (even people who don't care about vampires or vampire movies) know them. And then, of course they praise the show for the rest of the documentary as if it's the best thing on television right now. They talk about awards that they won and how they are so different and better than all the other awards. Well guess what, zero Emmy nominations, but go enjoy your People's Choice Award for Best Television Drama, guys. Oh wait, it's just NEW television drama right? They show fans at meet-ups with their stars and just try to want to remember everybody what big stars the lead trio is, especially Somerhalder. Well.. I guess people who have seen him in his other movies beg to differ. All in all, this documentary is really only for the worst Vampire Diaries fanboys. Everybody else will be repulsed by everything that is shoved in our faces here.
