Not what I expected
8 June 2015 | by (Berlin, Germany) – See all my reviews

Affter watching Cotillard's "Lady Noire", the first Dior campaign short film from 2 years earlier, I went into this one by expecting an artistic slow movie focused on the color red. that turned out true only to some extent. Actually, this is more of a rock music video starring the French Academy Award winning actress as something similar like the Garbage front singer. I really liked Cotillard in "Nine". Great acting performance and good songs, but this one here does not really look like it's the perfect choice for her in terms of music. Admittedly she looked like she was having a good time hanging out with Franz Ferdinand here. The director of these 4 minutes is Jonas Åkerlund who worked with U2 and Madonna before any many more. Still, all in all, I wasn't too impressed by this music video. Not recommended.
