The performer of Twin Peaks theme Julee Cruise's experimental concert film, which opens with a short intro where a man breaks up with his girl over the phone, which devastates her. The concert is set in her nightmarish subconscious mind.
"Crazy Clown Time" is a mix of music video and wild orgy with alcohol and some sex (nothing too graphic though) and the star here is director David Lynch. I cannot say I have heard of any of the actors, but the way these 7 minutes were shot fits nicely the style of David Lynch. The song is so-so, the only reason to watch this short film is really for how weird it is. There is no story and there are no traditional filmmaking values in here. However, I must say without the famous name behind the camera, this little film would probably be entirely unknown. It's known because it's Lynch, not because it is particularly memorable for any reason. That's also why I do not recommend it, even if the song grew a bit on my while watching and especially the voice that kept saying "It's crazy clown time." Not recommended.
