Our Greatest Fears

Another episode where the Neanderthal sees ants crawling across the floor. He takes out some poison but inadvertently sprays the stuff into his own mouth. This leads to hallucinations (maybe) as the ants form a kind of organized review and begin to sing insulting things to him, calling him all kinds of abusive names. Soon the creatures take over the house and he ends up paying a huge price. The finale is almost too much to watch for anyone who has a thing with insects. Once again the stark drawings and minimal scenes work well. This guy is really strange and in the darkest reaches of David Lynch's psyche. Watch this at your own risk.
