Synopsis for
"Desperate Housewives" You Can't Judge a Book by Its Cover (2007)

Lynette's sisters Lydia and Lucy arrive. Lynette tells them that she can't take Stella being around anymore. Lucy doesn't want Stella living with her because she just got a new boyfriend and she doesn't want him to find out how old she really is. Lydia doesn't want Stella either because she's been having psychological issues and has been seeing a doctor. Lucy tells Lydia that she thinks the reason she has psychological problems is because she's been taking care of Stella for the past 2 years. Lydia and Lucy want to put Stella in a retirement home, but Lynette's against that idea. Stella gets a new boyfriend, Stan. Lynette's not happy to meet him. Stella and Stan spend the night together in Lynette's house. Lynette, Lydia, and Lucy agree to buy Stella an apartment. However, Stella has plans of her own with Stan.

A disagreement arrives over the circumcision of Benjamin Hodge (Danielle's baby). When a doctor refuses to perform it, based on a letter from the baby's father, a new plan must be made. A mohel agrees to perform the circumcision if Bree raises the baby Jewish.

Dylan is snatched from her bed in the middle of the night.

Susan learns from Bree that Mike has a drug problem.

Victor confronts Gabrielle over her affair with Carlos. Gabrielle pushes Victor off his boat and guiltily tells Carlos what she's done.
