A Perfect Set for New Fans

This collection doesn't contain anything that the other DVD box sets don't have, with the exception of an audio commentary with Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor for "Sins of the Past" (the pilot episode).

This set would be great to give to someone in order to spark their interest in the series. It contains some of the best episodes of the series including "Callisto", "A Day in the Life", "The Bitter Suite", "The Ides of March", "Fallen Angel" and more. Oddly, the set also includes a real lemon – "Many Happy Returns". It also contains the pilot and finale.

Episodes like "Callisto" and "The Ides of March" show off some of the best drama the series has to offer while "A Day in the Life" and "Old Ares Had a Farm" are all about the comedy. Combined with "The Bitter Suite" and "Fallen Angel", some of the most unique episodes on television, and certainly the most visually stunning, and anyone who doesn't become addicted to the series from this set is simply nuts.
