I loved this movie, it's a true diamond. Marisa Tomei is an excellent actress and she really succeeds in portraying a confused and tormented women who questions her sanity. I was really blown away by this woman's acting and this movie was absolutely perfect for her, and vice versa.
The guy who played her husband is the reason I didn't give this movie 10 stars. I mean sure, his character demands a certain level of falseness (you will understand after you've seen the movie) but I'm sure the filmmakers could have found a more suitable actor. I remember seeing this dude in comedies and t.v. series where he did a great job, but in this movie he felt like a complete alien.
But I really do recommend this movie. It's another great psychological thriller which reminds me a lot about The Machinist'. Both movies are about guilt, sanity vs.insanity and trying to somehow deal with tragic events. But unlike The Machinist, this one has received zero attention, which is typical, but by no means logical.
