The principal actors in the movie did most of the stunt driving themselves. Whilst all of the principals needed stunt driving lessons - Yasiin Bey needed a little more work because he didn't have a driving license at the outset of the production. See more »
When the Cadillac pulls up in the scrap yard to pick up Mashkov, at first it is a black Cadillac Seville. There is a cutaway to some equipment in the yard, and in the next shot of the front of the car pulling up next to Mashkov, it is now a Cadillac CTS. See more »
I went to see THE ITALIAN JOB with mixed reviews in my head. I was pleasantly surprised with an entertaining close to 2 hours. I thought the cast was just great and so were the special effects, with the safe and truck just dropping out of sight. If you like fast paced action movies, this is the one to see.
