Trivia

The canyon at the beginning of the movie that Buzz is flying through was originally an earlier version of Ant Island from A Bug's Life (1998). The floating rocks had been an accident, but John Lasseter liked the effect, so it was used in the final film. See more »

Goofs

We see Zurg break out of his package as the toys leave the store. As the first confrontation with Buzz#2 states, all rangers are required to be in hyper-sleep for transfer, making it entirely possible that the toys can, in fact, move and be alive while inside their original packaging, therefore making it possible for Zurg to get free and also may be why Stinky Pete could move around if his box had indeed never been open. A great sequel
24 November 1999 | by See all my reviews

This has to be by far one of the cleanest and most well-designed movie to come from any studio for a while now. The plot is trim and concise and this film is not just for kids, there are plenty of grown-up themes to satisfy even critical viewers. The animation is tremendous, especially if you pay attention to the details, and the cameo from Geri and the underlying Star Wars spoofs are just great. All in all, one of the best films I've seen to date. Just one disappointment, no outtakes during the credits. But still, I don't think I'll forget this one for a while, if you get a chance to see it in the cinemas don't miss it...
