Various mishaps at a police station in an English town. The main character is the anachronistic, yet charming and funny Inspector Fowler. CID foil to Fowler, Inspector Grim is a bumbling, seething idiot.
Hi there, I just love(d) this show, its jokes, sketches, actions, statements were funny, absurd, weird, unique, provoking. There were lots of different characters the presenter Harald Schmidt, his Sidekick Herbert Feuerstein and their good old grandma "Oma Sharif" played: Fozzie Bär, Hänschen Klein, Family Lucky. They had a quiz, where they asked for the only letter that was missing in a word or a sentence (always letter n). They explained German proverbs in a literally way. So were most of their jokes, interpreting words/sayings in a literal way. I really miss their kind of humor, they always made me laugh. I'm so happy that I recorded some of their shows on videotape :-)
