this is a quirky and effective thriller which was the second movie to be made by chris pettit; an interesting film director whose previous film was another rarely seen gem named 'radio on' which was filmed in black and white and boasted the screen debut of sting. i can vaguely recollect seeing this movie way back in '82 when it had a limited cinema release and as far as i know; video copies are non existent. recommended.
