A perfect film?

This is the closest thing I've seen to the perfect film in every way. The direction is, of course, faultless. The story is touching without any hint of being overly sentimental - infact the nature of Newton's character downplays the emotion (serving of course to make it more potent). Newton is the perfect outsider - a thin, white, public school Englishman turning up in the wastes of backwater USA. It is Bowie's finest moment, in a part (perhaps the only character ever created) that perfectly matches his acting style, or whatever you want to call it. All the other acting is equally well-cast and each character is believable. Well worth buying, if you can find it!
