This film meant a lot to me in my adolescence. I would love to see it again as an adult.

This film meant the world to me when I saw it when it was first released. I related to the story of a young girl struggling for independence and loved the many touching performances in it, especially Patty Duke's, but also Nancy Marchand's, Salome Jens' and Martin Balsam's. I have not seen this film since, on television or available on videocassette.
