The former Baywatch star checked himself into UCLA Medical Center after stitching above one of his eyes unraveled and left the actor bleeding heavily. Hasselhoff's assistant drove him to hospital and has revealed to Tmz.com that the actor is still there, undergoing tests and treatment. Kate Hudson looks serious about her renewed romance with Owen Wilson, after celebrating her 29th birthday on a lunch date with the actor and his parents. The blonde beauty celebrated her big day on Saturday, when she dined out with her You, Me And Dupree co-star and his family at Gloria Estefan's restaurant Lario's in Miami, Florida. And the couple appeared to be having a great time. A source tells People.com, "The four of them sat away from the crowds and had a blast. Kate and Owen looked very happy and were talking up a storm to Owen's parents." They then enjoyed a night out with Hudson's girl pals at the city's Shore Club, where the couple kissed and "were very sweet looking." The source adds, "It was super lovey-dovey."

Former Law & Order star Angie Harmon is still struggling to believe she bared all for a magazine - because she's such a prude in real life. The actress joined Gabrielle Union, Ana Ortiz and singer Jill Scott for Allure magazine's annual naked spread, and she admits she had more problems disrobing than her fellow celebrities. Harmon says, "The hardest part was when the robe came off and I was like, 'And now I'm... naked.' You wonder if they can see your Caesarian scar." Harmon also reveals she has skinny-dipping photos she took on holiday with her husband that she can't bear to get developed because she fears what photo lab assistants will see. She explains, "We were on a private beach in Bora Bora and we took one picture of our heads under the water, but we can never develop the film because we don't know what else is showing." Union, Harmon's fellow 'stripper' for the tasteful new spread, admits she worked hard to make sure she looked great for the photo session. She explains, "I've always been athletic, but I stepped it up for this. I ran up and down stadium stairs and went hiking. I'm cool with being naked, but I wanted to push myself."

Pop stars Justin Timberlake and John Mayer paid tribute to Cameron Diaz's late father Emilio on Saturday afternoon when they joined mourners at a memorial service in California. Emilio Diaz died suddenly last Tuesday, aged 58, after a bout of influenza developed into pneumonia. A memorial service, dubbed a Celebration of Life, was held in Mahe in Seal Beach, where attendees were urged to embrace the late Emilio's humor and lively spirit in their dress. A source tells People.com, "Most people started arriving at 1:30 and hardly no one (sic) wore black. Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party." And the What Happens In Vegas beauty was given the support of her ex-boyfriends, Timberlake and Mayer, who arrived early on and stayed until around 4pm, when the memorial came to a close.

Singer/actress Vanessa Hudgens is desperate to follow in the footsteps of High School Musical co-stars Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale with her upcoming album Identified. Hudgens, 19, who plays Efron's love-interest in real life and on-screen, hopes the solo project will catapult her career into a more adult direction - although she admits the album isn't a full departure from her Disney roots. Kid Rock has had a $25,000 lawsuit against him dropped, after a U.S. jury ruled the woman who accused the star of assault had no grounds to sue. Kelly Ann Kozlowski filed papers against the rocker last year, claiming he threw her into a snowdrift outside his Brandon Township, Michigan, recording studio in March after she had refused to spend the night with him. The 29-year-old old filed a police report against Rock - real name Robert James Ritchie - but no charges were ever brought. Richie subsequently countersued Kozlowski, claiming she embarrassed and defamed him in her statement to police, but the lawsuit was dropped in November after the star failed to show up for a court hearing. Now a seven-man jury has dismissed Kozlowski's own suit, dropping the case in a U.S. court on Friday. And Richie's attorney William Horton reveals the star is delighted with the result. He says, "We're very pleased. We wish we wouldn't have had to be here in the first place, but we think the jury's decision was justified. We said all along that he was a lightning rod for a celebrity shakedown."

Disturbia star Shia LaBeouf was terrified of leaking details about the forthcoming blockbuster after director Steven Spielberg sued a big-mouthed extra. LaBeouf realized how serious Spielberg was about keeping production secrets, when he was first sent a script that was bar-coded and watermarked to prevent duplication. He was also given a hotline number to call if he lost it. The actor, who stars alongside Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, also recalled the fate of 24-year-old Tyler Nelson, who was taken to court by Spielberg and his part reportedly cut from the film, after he leaked plot details in a newspaper interview. LaBeouf says, "The joke I had was that Steven (Spielberg) had snipers following me. And if I ever slipped and gave up any tidbits, that was the end."

Rapper Kanye West and his fiancee have split. After 18 months of engagement, West's ex Alexis Phifer has confirmed she's no longer with the hitmaker. She tells People.com, "It's always sad when things like this end." Insisting that the pair remains the best of friends, the designer adds, "I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met." West and Phifer went public with their engagement last year and were planning a winter wedding when the rap star's mother Donda died in November. Rumors spread that the couple was secretly married over Christmas, but these proved not to be true. Sources claim the couple, who started dating in 2002, had been struggling for some time before they quietly split. One insider says, "They'd been having problems. Kanye is really focused on his (live) show; he's putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they've split." Phifer's career is also taking off - she has just launched her clothing line, Ghita.
