Barrymore Dating Long?

Actress Drew Barrymore has fueled rumors she is dating her movie co-star Justin Long after the pair were spotted kissing over the weekend. The 50 First Dates star, 32, enjoyed a passionate break with fellow actor Long, 29, at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, according to U.S reports. A source tells Us magazine, "They were making out all over the place. They were like kids in love." The couple star together in the upcoming movie adaptation of the best-selling love guide, He's Just Not That Into You. Barrymore has been linked to a series of men since splitting from Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti in January, including Scrubs star Zach Braff and director Spike Jonze.
Panettiere Threatens To "Kill" Journalist at Emmys
Heroes beauty Hayden Panettiere shocked journalists at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday when she allegedly threatened to "kill" a reporter for publishing articles about her love life. The 18-year-old star was attending the Los Angeles awards ceremony when she lashed out at a writer from American magazine Us Weekly, reportedly over her split from boyfriend Stephen Colletti earlier this month. The Us Weekly article reads: "The actress seems to have moved on. When Us asked, 'Where's Stephen?' at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 9, she furrowed her brow and replied: 'I don't know. In California?' Maybe it's because she had time to adjust to the relationship being over." But the actress was so incensed at the speculation over her private life she lost her temper and had to be held back by her publicist, who warned her, "Not on the red carpet."
Griffin Condemned by Religious Leaders
My Life On The D-List comedian Kathy Griffin has come under fire by a Christian theatre group for blaspheming during her acceptance speech at the Creative Emmy Awards on Saturday. Members of Tennessee's Miracle Theater posted an $90,000 ad in Usa Today condemning Griffin's speech, during which she said: "a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus. This award is my God now!" General manager Russ Hollingsworth says group members are offended by jokes about Jesus. He says, "When word reached our cast that a Hollywood celebrity had stood before TV cameras and said such vulgar things about Christ, they were incensed. It's just not OK anymore to mock Christians and Jesus with impunity." But Griffin insisted her statements were meant as a joke, adding, "Am I the only Catholic left with a sense of humor?"
Ferrera on Weight Loss Backlash
Ugly Betty star America Ferrera has hit back at claims she has given in to pressure to lose weight. The curvaceous star of the hit comedy has lost 20 pounds in recent weeks, prompting criticism from those who hailed her a role model for normal-sized women. Recent Emmy winner Ferrera blames the weight loss on a hectic shooting schedule - but admits she feels better slimmer. The 23-year-old says, "I feel like I'm a regular person. I'm a size 10 or 12, which is totally normal. But I do feel that since I wanted to get in better shape, there has been a bit of a backlash."
Gellar Goes Green To Save Cash

Thrifty Sarah Michelle Gellar has quietly become the queen of the green celebrities by recycling shopping bags and cycling to work. But the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star admits it has more to do with saving cash that being environmentally conscious. She tells Self magazine, "I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods so I get a discount. I go to Bloomingdale's on double rewards day. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go. My dry cleaner laughs. He's like, 'You don't have to keep printing them out!'" But it's her bright pink bicycle which earns her frowns from friends and neighbors now she lives in New York. She adds, "Not only is it bright pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tires. Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head."

Sheen's Anger at Richards' Child Protection Request
Charlie Sheen is furious with ex-wife Denise Richards, after she filed a court order requesting legal protection for her children against their actor father. The former Bond girl, 36, filed the papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, in which she is seeking "the assistance of the court to obtain orders to protect her children" from Sheen, according to her lawyer Neal Raymond Hersh. Defending his client's actions, he says, "She believes that Charlie has significant personal issues which he has failed to address and which require her to take action to protect her children. This is not a vindictive action. Any responsible parent in Denise's shoes would go to the ends of the Earth to protect her children." The document is yet to be released into the public domain, but according to papers obtained by Access Hollywood, Richards is concerned about the "inappropriate behavior... and conduct" of the Platoon star, particularly his "attraction to underage women and his sexual explicitness on the internet, including revealing his private parts." But Sheen, 41, is not happy with the application to put an end to his daughters - Sam, three, and Lola, two - staying overnight and insists the accusations are false. He says in a statement: "Clearly the mother of my children has no interest in responsible co-parenting when it comes to my relationship with our girls. The truth will prevail. It always does." Sheen and Richards divorced in 2006 and the former couple have been battling over the custody of their children ever since. The actor recently appealed to court to land better custody terms which will allow him to hire his own nanny and spend more time with his children.
Knightley Says No to Hollywood Blockbusters

British actress Keira Knightley has turned her back on major Hollywood roles - because they do not challenge her emotionally. The Atonement star, 22, says she "cannot imagine" doing another big-budget Pirates Of The Caribbean-style movie. Instead she wants to concentrate on quirky small-budget films which stretch her acting skills. She says, "I can't imagine ever doing another one. I had five months off from Pirates during the summer last year, when I made Silk and Atonement, and it was so great - I want to be able to explore emotions in smaller projects. That's not to say I won't suddenly read a big Hollywood blockbuster and go 'oooh, that might be good...' But I haven't yet."
Kidman Debuts at London Fashion Week

Actress Nicole Kidman is modeling at London Fashion Week on Thursday - but only virtually. The Australian Oscar-winner will make her catwalk foray on the big screen rather than the runway. Kidman, 40, stars in a film made by Antoni Burakowski and Alison Roberts to mark the 20th anniversary of their label, Antoni & Alison. She will model the duo's spring collection in a 10-minute short, which takes the place of their fashion show. Industry sources say Kidman - who usually commands hundreds of thousands of dollars for a film - volunteered her services as an anniversary present to the couple.
Spears Set for Sitcom Role?
Britney Spears' acting career has been given a boost - she's among studio favorites to land a role opposite former Friends star Matthew Perry in a new sitcom. In a new NBC sitcom in development, Perry will play a businessman who finds a pretty girl and asks her to pretend to be his wife to better his career. Daily Variety columnist Liz Smith reports bosses at the NBC TV network like the idea of troubled Spears playing the part of the fake wife. A TV source tells Smith, "There's something about her that just connects with the audience."
