Musical trio considered to be the leading exponent of "grunge rock". Members were Kurt Cobain (vocals), Krist Novoselic (bass) and David Grohl (drums).

The baby who appeared on the Nirvana album cover "Nevermind" was Spencer Elden. His parents were friends of the photographer and were paid $200 for the picture. He recreated the image on the 10th anniversary for Rolling Stone magazine. He also appeared on 'cEvin Key''s "The Dragon Experience" album cover in 2003.
