New to this, folks,so I'm jumping in here and there.Michael's spent a lot of time in London,so he's got an English overlay(Shakespeare can do that to you, too),but if you know what to listen for,Wales is still there. If you've got the extended cut of Underworld, listen to him talking about Lucian's backstory. It's vowel sounds(the long`o',for example),and there's a bit of a lilt there that didn't come from speakers of the `hard tongue'-English,that is.Some people hang onto their accents for dear life(I worked for a man who hadn't set foot in Germany in fourty years, and it was still there, loud and clear),and some don't.Also if you hear them in a more relaxed setting, and at greater length, the original will creep in more and more.I've heard it with several actors.
