Today we have this year’s edition.

Topping the 2017 edition we have the post-wwii drama Ruin by Matthew Firpo and Ryan Firpo, which Gal Gadot is set to star in with direction by Macbeth and Snowtown‘s Justin Kurzel. The show took a big turn to kick off the second season and it only improved on everything fans loved in the first. Walton Goggins even recently scored a Critics’ Choice nom, and one that is certainly deserved.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get crazier, and/or that we’d given these characters all the rope they could handle, Goggins and Danny McBride take things even further.

For the uninitiated, McBride and Goggins star as vice principals who conspire to get rid of their high school’s new principal. In season two, as a result of some utterly bizarre events, Goggins’ character has taken over as principal, and things have rather gone to his head. Now, the teachers are the ones in the crosshairs, because

Stronger is currently on general release in the UK, starring Jake Gyllenhaal. He plays the real-life role of Jeff Bauman, who became the center of world attention after being seriously injured in the Boston Marathon Bombing. Sadly he lost his legs but he was an inspiration to many after helping police track down bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

He then wrote a memoir about his experiences coming to terms with the tragedy, which the production is based on. We got on the phone to chat with him about what it was like having his life turned into a movie and the close bond he developed with Gyllenhaal and the cast and crew…

Thn: How were you approached about a movie based on your story?

Jeff Bauman: I got a call from Todd Lieberman and Scott Silver from Mandeville. They were with John Pollono the screenwriter, who’s actually from my area.

The Adventures of Tintin (Steven Spielberg)

Leave it to Steven Spielberg to eke more thrills out of an animated feature than most directors could with every live-action tool at their disposal. The Adventures of Tintin is colored and paced like a child’s fantastical imagining of how Hergé’s comics might play in motion, and the extent to which viewers buy it depends largely on their willingness to give

Andi Matichak cast in Halloween reboot as Jamie Lee Curtis’ granddaughter

The Halloween reboot from Danny McBride and David Gordon Green has gained another addition to the Strode family. Deadline reports Orange Is the New Black’s Andi Matichak will star in the film alongside returning Halloween actress Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer.

Matichak will star as Allyson, the daughter of Greer’s Karen Strode and granddaughter of Curtis’ Laurie Strode. Curtis starred in her iconic role in the first two Halloween films from John Carpenter, reprising her role in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later before getting killed off in Halloween: Resurrection. However, this new Halloween will ignore all the sequels and be a direct sequel to the original which John Carpenter, who is producing the film, directed himself.
