It's funny how you get impressions about a personality depending on *when* you knew them, the shows you saw them in and the shows you didn't see them in...

I first watched Stephanie Edwards when she was Ralph Story's secretary who had come up the ranks to be the "talking head" who sat next to him in L.A. (Was that the name of the show then?? That was in the early 1970's.) At some point, she got an acting job in the movie "Maurie" but nothing seemed to have come from her fledgling acting career.

Then I didn't see her anymore in LA, then I moved to Phoenix where I never saw her and assumed she had gone off to get married and have children and not be in show business anymore. Then in Phoenix, I saw her do a few announcements for Lloyd Ogilvie's tv church.

And now I see that she is still working in L.A. (The article in another post that was hyper-linked to no-where so I never got to read why she was having problems with her co-star in her Parade gig. I can tell you right now, that I know it was NOT Stephanie Edwards' fault, whatever happened between them!)

I guess I will have to start asking my L.A. family to tape it whenever they see her in anything. Is she still in LA Today??
