I am curious to know more about the person Forrest CARTER, especially why and how he died that relatively "young", aged 53, and the only info I could found is that he "choked on blood subsequnt to a fist fight [with his son (!!)]) ...

Seems he was pretty much a right-wing guy and maybe not that much of a kind person, BUT the two Josey Wales books (which are definitly right-wing) are superb prose, tough and thrilling, so I would love to know more about this person and if this info on his death is indeed true ??
