Keri Russell Marries in New York
16 February 2007 (WENN)
Former Felicity star Keri Russell tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Shane Deary in New York City on Valentine's Day. Russell and Deary, both 30, recently announced they were expecting their first child this summer. Only a few close friends attended the intimate ceremony, which took place during a snowstorm. According to American publication Us Weekly, the wedding reception was held at the Red Cat, a French restaurant in New York's Chelsea district. A source adds, "As far as I know, it went beautifully." Russell, who starred with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible III, made an appearance with Deary at the Sundance Film Festival last month to promote her new film, Waitress. This will be the first marriage for both. Russell previously dated her Felicity co-star Scott Speedman and fellow Mouseketeer Tony Lucca.
You Say You Want an 'Evolution'?
15 June 2006 (StudioBriefing)
Proving that horror flicks can have a lucrative afterlife, Sony's Underworld: Evolution, starring Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman, debuted last week at the top of the DVD sales chart, dropping the previous week's top seller, 20th Century Fox's Date Movie to No. 7, Home Media Retailing reported today (Thursday). The trade publication gave no sales figures. It also noted that the Harrison Ford thriller Firewall from Warner Bros. debuted in second place. In rentals, the two films reversed positions, with Firewall earning $10 million in rentals, edging out Underworld's $9.5 million.

Other stars at the San Diego, California convention included British actress Kate Beckinsale and director fiance Len Wiseman, and Underworld actor Scott Speedman.
Who Will Be Spider-Man?
27 June 2000 (WENN)
The race to find a suitable Spider-Man (2001) star is heating up - and time may be running out. The film is due to start filming in the Fall and location managers have been scouring New York to find suitable places to shoot the superhero movie. And casting directors are desperately trying to nail down a star for the lead - with less than 4 months to go - they need enough time to train the suitable actor in his wall-climbing skills. Freddie Prinze Jr. would love the role saying, "I've always felt very strong about playing Spider-Man. I read comic books to this day. Spider-Man was one of my favorites when I was growing up." Other names rumored to be in the running include Heath Ledger, Scott Speedman and Tobey Maguire.
