Here’s What Jake Gyllenhaal Could Look Like As Batman

Jake Gyllenhaal as the ninth incarnation of Gotham’s Dark Knight?

That’s the rumor currently doing the rounds online, after one report claimed Matt Reeves, writer-director on The Batman, has hand-picked Gyllenhaal to be his Caped Crusader, and the one who would eventually succeed Ben Affleck in the title role.

Keep in mind that many of DC’s bigwigs have since voiced their support of Affleck’s costumed crusader on the belief that he will indeed reprise the part in time for The Batman in 2018, despite all of those conflicting reports swirling online. So, until we have something official from the studio, it’d be best to treat this all just as a rumor for now. Still, that hasn’t stopped fan artist extraordinaire Boss Logic from putting together a quick design of how the Stronger star may appear should he indeed take over the role, and you can

The End Of Batfleck? Matt Reeves “Doesn’t Want” Justice League Actor For The Batman

All summer long, Justice League was dogged by allegations that Ben Affleck was weighing up his future as the Caped Crusader.

Back then, ardent Batfleck supporters brushed aside any and all claims on the belief that they were manufactured hit-pieces designed to stir up controversy. The ensuing ‘will he, won’t he?’ saga gripped the Internet for months, but on the eve of Justice League‘s theatrical debut, it now looks certain that Ben Affleck is headed for the exit door.

It all started when Affleck himself cast doubt on his future within the DC Extended Universe two weeks ago, leading many to conclude that Matt Reeves was ready to cast another Hollywood A-lister in time for The Batman. New Empire Season 4, Episode 5 Is Getting Delayed

  • OnTheFlix
Hey, "Empire" fans. Unfortunately, we have some pretty bad news to deliver in this article. It turns out that it's that time of year again where your favorite show is going to have to take a back seat to Fox's coverage of the Major League Baseball World Series. Yep, that's right. The upcoming episode 5 of this current season 4 is getting delayed for a possible two weeks! It's definitely not going to air next Wednesday, October 25,2017 due to Fox covering the big Game 2 of the World Series. What could make this even worse is if the series is driven to seven games. That means the show would not air on Wednesday night, November 1,2017 as well! This is a big "if" though. It has happened in the past. In fact, it just happened last year causing Empire to be delayed for two weeks. We certainly hope that doesn't happen this year, but

‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams 1×05: Real Life’ Review

When will Virtual Reality go too far, becoming a little too comfortable for us to want to leave it? That is the question raised in Real Life, the latest installment in Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.

Sarah (Anna Paquin) is a policewoman who shares so-called “headspace” with George (Terrence Howard) a brilliant game designer. Both are pursuing violent killers whose plans have shattering consequences for their worlds. With the connection between the two realities merging closer and closer, the question has to be…what happens when one reality takes too much control?

Real Life is interesting because we’ve seen this type of scenario replicated in shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The idea that another reality can feel much more comfortable than the one we live in always raises the same question. If we had the choice, which one would we stay in? In this episode of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams,

If you’re a glassy-eyed wreck suffering from equal parts Ptsd and survivor guilt, don’t rely on your own subconscious to conjure you up a relaxing psychic holiday. You may as well book a world cruise through Boko Haram instead of Thomas Cook.

However unwise, that’s what traumatised cop Sarah (Anna Paquin) does in the opening segment of Real Life, the fifth Electric Dreams story, written by Ronald D. Moore and directed by Jeffrey Reiner. Still visibly shaken a year after fifteen of her colleagues were killed in a police massacre, Sarah agrees to take an experimental Vr trip out of her mind.
