She is a mother of seven children and is very kind to kind people. She is a motherly figure to Harry, and she treats Harry as her son. She is part of the Order of the Phoenix in the second war, and in the seventh book, she lets the Order use her house, the Burrows, as headquarters. When Bill (her son) and Fleur Delacour announce they are going to get married she does everything in her power to stop them but resigns herself to the marriage, even becomes more affectionate towards Fleur when Fleur shows how truly she loves Bill.

In the seventh book she battles Bellatrix Lestrange after Bellatrix almost kills Ginny. She kills Bella.
