Notes:	The festival takes place every other year since 1976. In 1984 it was located in Toronto, in 1986 in Hamilton. Since 2005 the festival is an annual event. Since 1997 the spin-off event Ottawa International Student Animation Festival takes place alternating with the festival in odd years.
